Beskrivning av projektet på engelska
This is a six-day performance art gathering bringing together youth from four European countries between 26th July and 31st July in Risør, on the south coast of Norway.
Led by by award-winning Lithuanian Artistic Director Ruta Bunikyte and facilitated by accompanying group leaders, the participants will develop and rehearse a short stage piece for the multi-disciplinary opening show of the 25th annual Wooden Boat Festival in Risør.
Thematically we will work with our perception of conflict on local and international levels in order to explore if and how our dreams of resolution differ. Because of Risør's wooden boat festival and general nautical orientation we intend to incorporate sea, sails and journeys in our motivic palette.

During the gathering all the participants will live and work at the art centre Risør Kunstforum: www.kunstforum.no. Risør Kunstforum has staged residential seminars and courses for young people every year since 2004. In 2006 the group included young people from another country (Denmark) for the first time. The venue is a highly appropriate setting for these kinds of gatherings. An old boarding school, the residential wing has been refurbished to meet National fire safety standards for public accommodation.
Virtually all meals will be served on site and there are numerous seminar rooms, workshops and studios in the venue, minimising the need for the participants to travel during their stay. Holiday needs will also be met, as the centre is situated near the sea and its beaches, boats and barbecue-possibilities.
